Committed to the promotion of lifelong learning, Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) offers a number Sponsorships in recognition of excellent academic achievements, leadership qualities and special talents and contributions to new and continuing students.

The Alice Lim Memorial Fund Sponsorship aims to provide suitable candidates with the opportunity to enroll in the PhD in Gerontology and, Graduate Diploma and Master of Gerontology programme with Singapore University of Social Sciences​ and develop skills for life.

Who is Eligible?

You should be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident with impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills, and demonstrable leadership qualities.  New students must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.
 

Tenure of Sponsorship

The sponsorship is awarded for the minimum period required to complete the Gerontology programme.

Value of Sponsorship

The value of each sponsorship award is capped at S$20,000 for PhD in Gerontology and S$10,000 for Master in Gerontology. There is no bond attached to the sponsorship.

How to Apply?

Application is open only for the July semesters. 
Sponsorship application period: 1 February - 31 March

The Lorong Koo Chye Sheng Hong Temple Award aims to provide suitable candidates with the opportunity to enroll in the PhD in Gerontology programme with Singapore University of Social Sciences.

Who is Eligible?

You should be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident with impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills, and demonstrable leadership qualities.  New students must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.
 

Tenure of Sponsorship

The sponsorship is awarded for the minimum period required to complete the programme.

Value of Sponsorship

The value of sponsorship is capped at S$15,000 per award.

Students may apply simultaneously for admission and sponsorship

The SUSS-NTUC Sponsorship scheme aims to provide suitable candidates with the opportunity to enrol in the graduate programmes with SUSS and develop skills for life.

Who is Eligible?

The sponsorship is open to all NTUC General Branch, Ordinary Branch members and staff. You should be a Singapore citizen or Permanent resident with impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills, and demonstrable leadership qualities.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study being applied for at the University. They must separately seek admission to the programme, and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.

The Sponsorship is awarded for the period required to complete the full programme of study.

Value of Sponsorship

The Sponsorship will cover up to 50% of the total course fee. For PhD/Doctoral programme, the Sponsorship is only applicable to the coursework part of the programme.

There is no bond attached to the Sponsorship.

Application for the SUSS-SAFRA Sponsorship is open to all SAFRA Ordinary A (except NSFs), Ordinary B and Life members. You must have impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills and demonstrable leadership qualities. 

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study applied for at the University. They must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study applied for at the University. They must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the Sponsorship.

The sponsorship is open to grassroots leaders with People's Association (PA) and/or its associated organisations as well as staff of PA. You should be a Singapore citizen or Permanent resident with impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills, and demonstrable leadership qualities. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions on other eligibility criteria.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study being applied for at SUSS. They must separately seek admission to the programme, and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the Sponsorship.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study applied for at the University. They must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the Sponsorship.

This Sponsorship provides opportunity for high potential national players to pursue higher education with Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). 

Who is Eligible?

The Sponsorship is open to eligible national players nominated by the Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA). Nominated national players must be Singapore citizens who fulfill the selection criteria set by the University and STTA. They must meet the admission requirements for the applied course of study.

The Sponsorship is awarded for the period required to complete the full programme of study. There is no bond attached to the sponsorship.
