Warehousing plays an important role in the support of businesses and products on a global scale. It facilitates product accumulation, consolidation and customisation, improves logistics accuracy and minimises the effects of supply chain inefficiencies. Effective warehousing and material handling helps to ensure high levels of customer service and supply chain performance. This course provides the students with an understanding of the principles, processes and techniques for the effective planning, management and operation of warehouses. Through this exposure, students will gain insights into how warehousing adds value to the organisation’s supply chain and how warehousing decisions impact the performance of the organisation.

E-Learning: BLENDED - Learning is done MAINLY online using interactive study materials in Canvas. Students receive guidance and support from online instructors via discussion forums and emails.
