Synopsis

This course will introduce a variety of activities and teaching approaches to help students provide appropriate and creative arts education for young children from 2 to 8 years old. Through hands-on activities, students will be exposed to new ways of seeing and perceiving the world, gain appreciation of the sensory-emotional aspects of visual and performing arts and music, nature and culture. In exploring art through a multi-cultural context, students will be empowered to create interesting as well as effective environment to foster the growth of potential creativity in every child.
