Synopsis

修订后的本科目,重点集中在专题讲座,包括:讲解从五四运动至今抗日战争之前的新加坡与马来西亚华文文学发展脉络,各不同时 的主要文学主张问题;几次重大的文学论争问题;主要的作者与作品分析;文学经营问题;中国新文学与新马文学的关系问题。

E-Learning: BLENDED - Learning is done MAINLY online using interactive study materials in MyUniSIM. Students receive guidance and support from online instructors via discussion forums and emails. This is supplemented with SOME face-to-face sessions. If the course has an exam component, this will be administered on-campus.

  • Apply new perspectives from the study of Chinese immigrants, history of Chinese in Singapore and Malaya etc to enhance their understanding of the post-war Chinese literary writers and works (B3)
  • Analyze data and information to conduct study and research on the history and development of the modern Chinese literature of Singapore and Malaya (B4)
  • Practise knowledge gained in the course for teaching at primary and secondary levels as local school curricula often include literary works of the early local writers (B3)
