Synopsis

BSE501 Principles and Practices in Outdoor Education explores a wide range of models, concepts and practices adopted in the implementation of Outdoor Education. Historical antecedents, terminologies, principles and practices of outdoor education will be covered. The course will also explore issues in outdoor education such as stages of human growth, motivation and risk taking and the outcomes of participation.
