Synopsis

ADL551 Technologies in Teaching and Learning provides students with an understanding of the various contemporary digital technologies designed and developed to support specific pedagogies. Besides having the opportunity to explore these technologies, knowledge of how they support access to and enable processing of subject-matter knowledge is unpacked. The Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) will be used as the undergirding learning and design framework. The implications of these digital technologies in higher education and workplace learning will also be discussed.
